My favorite photo....

This is my favorite photo of me because I just look so happy. I look calm, cute , and just very happy, sitting on the couches in the high school. At that time I was being bothered by a friend taking the photo and one of the teachers.

My Five Favorite Photography Tips.....lol...

There are so many tips to choose from in the field of taking digital photography photos. Well for me I have a few that I like or are my Favorite.

1. Macro Photography- I think that this is my most favorite because when you take a photo using macro mode it creates a bigger and life size photo of the object that you are taking a photo of. It also gives you a different perspective at how you look at the tiniest thing that was taken on macro mode to fit your eyes. That is really cool.
2. Framing Your Shots- because you can create natural frames around your subjects that you are taking photos of.
   
3. The Rule of Thirds- because this helps you to take a better photo of the subject you are shooting for.
   
4. Creating Active Space- I like this one because when you take a photo while creating active space this helps to give a better view of thing in front of the object or subject that you are taking a photo of.
   
5. Black and White Photography- I like taking photos in black and white because it makes a photo look like it has a story to the photo. And the photo looks more real.

Favorite places in ook...

These are some photos that we took for our photography class. We took photos of our favorite places in Toksook Bay, we went around town looking for places that we like and were we go to hang out. I chose the photos of the elementary, the windmills, and the beach which is more like the bay of Toksook. Those places to me are calming and you can go to them places when you need time to yourself. The photo of the old elementary reminds me of when y grandma used to teach there, he classroom was a peaceful place to hang out and just be with my grandma.

Macro Photograpgy...

Beautiful Bugs
Other then bugs being annoying and gross they can make the most cool, dramatic, and colorful close-up photos. Their environment brings out many different colors in a photograph and they also bring out the texture around the insect or the subject. Bugs are just as unique as we are but there are more bugs in the world then there is humans. More plentiful. Bugs can be found anywhere in the world just about anytime of the month.

Macro Photography Tips
It is best if you set your camera on Macro mode to capture very small objects to make them look bigger then they are. Certain cameras can adjust to different close-ups and some other cameras can't. You can also use a tripod for better still close-up photos of small objects. A tripod also gets rid of the shakiness in a photo. On your camera you can also pick a small Aperture to take lager and to get better focus of small objects that are hard to capture.

Macro Photography
Macro photography is mainly close-up photos of very small objects like insets, peoples facial parts, and many other small objects. Macro photography helps you to take very descriptive and colorful photos. Macro makes the photo of the object like two times larger then its original size. Macro photos bring out many things in a photo like, texture, color, and very interesting designs on and around the object.

How to Photograph Bugs
Sometimes getting close to bugs can be kind of tricky. You have to observe your subject very carefully and try to look at their pattern of behavior. Remember that there are millions of bugs around you. You have to be patient with bugs. Bugs are like kids they run around everywhere, so you have to wait till they are in one spot for a while. But, it may take only a few minutes that the insect will be there, so you have to be quick about taking the right photo. You also have to careful about where you are standing because many bugs can see shadows really well and often get scared of you and your shadow.

A quick guide to Macro Photography
When taking a photo of something it is good to use colored subjects and make sure that they wont be so reflective.When taking photos of water try to make sure that there is some color around the water or to the side of the water. Sometimes when going to take a photo of something it can be hard to time things correctly. You have to take a few practice shots to make the photo just right and you can always delete the ones you don't like. Sometimes it just takes practice when taking Macro photos.

Macro photography is taking 1x magnified to be larger then usual. If the photo is anything less then it would just be close-up photography. Taking photos on Macro means making the photo of the subject life size. There are many different types of lenses to take macro and close-up photos of many things or for your subjects. There are sizes such as 77mm, 58mm, 20mm, those are just some of the sizes. They all zoom in at different distances to make things a different size. They also come in many different powers.

The good thing about photography is its ability to show us the world around us in many different ways that we don't usually see it as. Photography shows us more of the things that go unnoticed then when taking a photo in Macro made. You often get a better image of things when they are close-up and can see everything around you. They say that natural sunlight produces better photo lighting results. The skin color is natural and unaffected by the strange colors from not natural lighting, like from the inside…the lights could or can be dimmer and dark. Also using a flash indoors can make a picture look funny and discolored. Taking pictures outdoors can also bring out natural colors in the surrounding around you and make everything look beautiful and lively. Also taking photos outside can create a natural lighting for everything and keep the natural colors of the subject you are taking a photo of.

The bright sun outside can sometimes create dark shadows in and around subjects/objects.
Dark shadows are usually around faces of people when taking photos outside in the sunlight. When taking photos outdoors in the sunlight it is best to set your flash to Fire. This eliminates the shadows around peoples faces and other subjects. When the shadows are eliminated the photo looks more beautiful and you get a well-lit photo.

Light takes a big role in taking pictures and it is very important to how the light falls on your subject. To know if your subject is in the right place or positioning it to where there are no shadows. It is best to take photos when the sun is low in the sky like early in the morning or late at night when the sun is really low. When taking pictures outside while the sun is up in the sky it makes the subject shadowy, or if your taking a picture of someone the sun tends to make the person squint or have funny looking eyes.

Try to fill your frame with your primary subject. When you eliminate the sides and other things you will get a better and interesting picture. You will also minimize the red eyes that the flash causes from being too far away. Camera movement is usually the cause of blurred images in a picture. When taking a picture of something or someone try to use a high shutter speed to eliminate the movement of the person and camera motion. When you use high shutter speed it helps to take away movement of any kind in a picture. That can create a better looking picture and of course a more still photo.

The mistake that people make is using a camera with a high shutter speed that is over the synchronization speed. That is why the picture ends up half blocked is because of the focal plane shutter. The camera capacity level shoud show up on your camera shutter speed indicator.

Photos taken around our village.

These are some photos that Mary and I have taken around the village. One picture is of me that Mary took at the beach and the fish racks are in the background. The other is of Mary at the playground posing for the camera and last but not least the other is of the windmills. I just wanted to take a picture of them because they look so peaceful and calming.

Confusion.....What to do about it.......

I first of all have something to say about this one particular person....but, I am not saying names here so deal with it. Ok, there is this one person in my school who makes me really mad and sometimes I can get tired of that person, always lying about things well, not always but most of the time. That person can say anything about anyone without having any consideration about how other people have treated that person. That person doesn't like it when I treat other people like crap or give them crap but, the thing that makes me mad is that when that person is mad at me or anyone else that person don't like to be bothered, talked to sometimes, and doesn't like being told " I told you so!" I describe this person as a Maniac who who talks to much. Thats all I have to say about that person.

Sports Photography....hard to get.

The first picture is of Jeff doing a one foot high kick, which to me looks scary and dangerous but hey he did it. But, he didn't quite hit it right on the spot. I like this picture because he is in the middle of the air. This other picture is of little kids playing basketball in the gym....they look like their having fun and stuff. This picture to me is kinda bad because of the lighting and all the movement going on in the background. All these were taken in high ISO.

Framing Your Shot....sounds creepy..

These are some photo's taken using the natural frames around the persons. Like for instance the picture of Mary, the desk is the frame around her and for my picture it's the stairs and railing. They are naturally framed pictures.

This photo is taken in high ISO. We'll both of the photo's are taken in high ISO. The first one I took is of the eighth grade classroom and some of the students are in the photo. These are good photo's because the student's aren't paying attention to the camera and they are working which makes the photo look normal.

The Rule of Thirds

These photos are good and bad examples of the Rule of Thirds. The first one that was taken is kind of the one thats the bad example where the object/person is in the middle of the picture. Thats why its so boring. The other picture is the better one because the object/ person is to the side of the picture and its not directly in the middle. And thats why its a good picture.

bblack and white pictures

These are some black and white pictures that were taken in our digital photography class. We had so much fun taking these. The difference between the two pictures is that one picture is a reflection of my foot with my flip flop on and the other picture is of me and my friend Lydia being silly which the photo was also taken in black and white. These pictures are good because each one has it's own facts to it. By facts I mean like they tell their own stories or what event was going on at the time they were taken.

friendship

Friendship.....it's so hard to define, it's so hard to find a good friend that you can talk to about anything and do things together with, to share feelings with, to have by your side when you need the company. Trying to make friends can be hard, then when you find the friends you think are good one's.....something happens or goes wrong somehow. It's so weird how things work. Like me, I thought I made two good friends this school year but it turns out I was wrong about them.....it's like they all of a sudden changed...they act like they can't see me or hear me when I try to talk to them, like all of a sudden me and Anita don't exist to them anymore....or they don't want nothing to with both or one of us. We find friends and then lose them....it's like friendships don't last long. What I don't like is when they start to ignore you don't really know why they are treating you like that or what you did to them to make them act like that towards you, when you try to ask them whats wrong they just give you this weird look like they expect you to know what you did wrong or what you did to them to make them ignore you and give you dirty looks all the time. And it's so weird how some friends can lie to you so easily or shove words into your mouth. Like seems like some of my friends do that to me and I get so confused and don't know why they would do that to me. You really have to watch your back all the time to keep yourself on your feet, if you don't you stumble into a trap and can't get out of it.

My friend Anita calls me "Elmo" because she thinks it's cute and funny. I don't really know why she really calls me that and how she came up with that name for me. I like it though.
